If you carry a Floating ring of substratum and are Il san stats, you will enter the Angry Spirits section where you can do two quests. If you are wearing a Floating substratum ring, you may walk through the tunnel to the east and enter the deeper portion of the cave. If you do not have a Floating substratum ring, then you will fall to the Lost Spirits and will not be able to enter the tunnel.
